Surgical referral is arranged when necessary. The goal is symptom resolution and safe return to activity.
Return to Sport
Return is guided by:
- Symptom improvement
- Restoration of motion and strength
- Functional tolerance
- Risk of recurrence
Each plan is individualized.
When to Seek Evaluation
- Pain persisting beyond several weeks
- Recurrent symptoms with play
- Loss of motion or strength
- Concern regarding imaging findings
- Difficulty returning after injury
