Practical Information

Clinic hours and availability

OrthoWell Clinic operates on a limited schedule. Appointments are offered on select days and times only. Because visits are intentionally unhurried, same-day or walk-in appointments are not available.

Important notice

OrthoWell Clinic does not provide emergency care.

If you have a medical emergency, severe injury, active infection, chest pain, shortness of breath, or uncontrolled bleeding, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

How to prepare for your examination

OrthoWell Clinic visits are designed to allow time for careful evaluation. Being prepared helps make the visit more productive. You will have the opportunity to compete paperwork and provide a medical history online through our HIPAA compliant electronic health record TEBRA.

If possible, please take advantage of this opportunity to maximize the benefit of your visit. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork. Wear comfortable clothing that allows the area being examined to be easily accessed. For shoulder, hip, or knee visits, this may include shorts or a sleeveless shirt.

Bring a current list of medications and known allergies, including prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and supplements. If you have had prior imaging, please bring the images themselves, not just the written reports. This includes X-rays, MRI scans, and CT scans. If imaging was done elsewhere, request a CD or digital copy before your visit. If you have had prior surgery, please bring operative reports and any available surgical notes or photographs.

Be ready to discuss when the problem began, treatments you have tried, and what has helped or not helped. Preparation allows the visit to focus on understanding the problem and planning next steps.
